Cable ModemsUpdates and NewsCOMCAST CUSTOMERS - ITCom/Comcast Cable Modem Billing Service is being transitioned from ITCom to Purchasing Effective July 1, 2005, departments that want to fund faculty or staff members' Comcast High Speed Internet Service should work through the Purchasing Department's Strategic Supplier Program to obtain service. Existing subscribers of the ITCom/Comcast billing service are being transitioned automatically to this new system. CHARTER CUSTOMERS - No new service through ITCom Effective July 1, 2005, ITCom will no longer handle new orders for Charter cable modem service to be billed to a Unviersity department. Existing Charter/ITCom cable modem customers will be transitioned to another billing method sometime in the next few months. Watch the Charter page for details. |
