You can forward your U-M land-line phone to a cell phone
Call ITCom at 3-2000 and ask for the "call forward programmable" feature. There is NO Charge to add this feature
Cell phone charges will apply
U-M telephone service charges for local or long distance calls will apply
If forwarding your U-M land-line phone to a cell phone you can also receive caller-ID information
Call ITCom at 3-2000 and ask for the "outbound caller ID" feature. There is NO Charge to add this feature.
This will provide caller ID information on all calls made from the land-line phone
This service is not available to those with a VoIP phone
If you use U-M Exchange e-mail and have a Smartphone you may be able to sync your e-mail. Depending upon the type of Smartphone you have, there may be a charge.
