U-M Virtual Private Network (VPN)

Wireless VPN Downloads

To use the VPN, you will need to download the Cisco VPN client and install it on your laptop computer. This client will grant you full access to the Internet, and encrypt any data you send or receive. If you already have a version of the Cisco VPN client installed on your computer, make sure to download and import the newest profile(s).

Please select the platform on which you would like to install the VPN client and follow the directions listed on the page. Note: Make sure your computer meets the minimum system requirements.

While other clients and operating systems may work with the Cisco hardware, at this time the University of Michigan support is limited to Windows, Macintosh, and Linux computers.
