To use the wireless network provided by ITCS, choose one of the following names (Service Set Identifiers or SSIDs) when your device searches for available networks: MWirelessMWireless is the most secure way to use the wireless network and should be used by all U-M faculty, staff and students. Before using the service, you will need to configure settings on your wireless device see Setting Up MWireless. UM Wireless NetworkUM Wireless Network should be used by U-M faculty, staff and students to obtain the software needed for MWireless access or if the device they are using does not meet 802.1x/WPA2 technical standards. UM Wireless Network should also be used by guests. To access UM Wireless Network launch a web browser then enter your user name and password. Privacy WarningWireless technologies are still relatively insecure. By using UM Wireless Network you are accepting that it is possible for others within range to use an application to intercept the information you send and receive through the network.
