Setting Up MWireless

Unsupported Operating Systems

There are a variety of operating systems and devices that have wireless access and will work. We cannot however support all devices officially and are providing information here to help you in being able to connect to MWireless. In order for any of these devices to be able to connect, they must be able to support WPA/WPA2-Enterprise networks with EAP type TTLS/PAP. The configuration settings are listed at the bottom of this page.

Apple iPhone and iTouch

Windows Mobile 5/6 Or Pocket PC 2003/2005

Windows Mobile devices are produced by a variety of vendors each of whom uses proprietary configuration labels and/or icons. It is possible to configure most of these devices to use MWireless but the configuration must be done manually.

  • Go to the Downloads - Secure W2 Personal Client web page.

  • Download the Installer Personal Client for Windows Mobile 5/6 Or Pocket PC 2003/2005.

  • Install the client on your wireless device using the SecureW2 documentation.

  • Configure the device with the settings below, if you need assistance use the vendor provided help (manual, web site, phone center).

Linux

Due to the many variations of Linux distributions, it is not an operating system that is supported. While it will work, you will have to find the software that will work for your distribution and wireless device. Below are some links that may be of help.
