Setting Up MWireless

Windows XP or Vista

What software is being used to manage the wireless functions on the Windows laptop you wish to configure?

To determine what software is being used to manage the wireless functions on your Windows laptop, click on the wireless icon in the taskbar on the laptop you are configuring. (Normally the taskbar is set-up to appear at the bottom of the screen and the wireless icon will be in the lower right hand corner.)

A wireless network window will appear. Find the image below that most closely looks like the wireless network window on the laptop and click that image:

None of the images above look like the wireless network window on my laptop.

I know what software is being used to manage the wireless function on my laptop and how to access that software. Use the MWireless configuration settings below to configure your laptop.

I don't know and can't determine what is managing the wireless functions on my laptop.

Staff at the U-M Computer Showcase can help or you can contact the hardware manufacturer for assistance. The MWireless configuration settings below will be used to configure your laptop.
